Let's find out Whitelist meaning, definition in crypto, what is Whitelist, and all other detailed facts.

In the field of cryptocurrencies, the term "whitelist" can refer to a variety of things. In general, it is a list of approved and identified individuals, organizations, computer programs, and even cryptocurrency addresses.

Whitelists are most commonly used in the context of initial coin offerings (ICOs) or withdrawal addresses. After providing their personal details, investors that want to participate in ICOs are usually whitelisted. When it comes to withdrawal addresses, a whitelist refers to a list of cryptocurrency addresses that are deemed trustworthy. Only addresses on such lists are permitted to withdraw funds from exchange accounts.

However, whitelists also refer to lists in users' email accounts to which they can add a certain crypto company’s emails to prevent them from going to spam folders. In addition, whitelists can also be lists of internet service providers to which cryptocurrency companies pay to be added.
