Binance’s CEO Stays Humble After Ranking as the 11th Richest Person in the World

The owner of the largest crypto exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao scored the 11th spot in the hall of the world’s richest people, according to a January 9th report by Bloomberg. The net worth excludes his overall holdings of crypto assets which are undisclosed.

While being just short of a dozen billion net worth before taking the number 10th spot from Larry Ellison, founder of tech giant Oracle, CZ is currently the richest person in the crypto industry and the entire Asian region.

However, Changpeng Zhao is quite humble with his success, and has said to donate the majority of his fortunes to charity.

The growing popularity of cryptocurrencies around the globe, and Binance’s footsteps appearing in multiple regions outside Asia could be linked to the swift increase of Zhao’s net worth. 

Binance has recently accomplished its stay in both the east and west sides of the world by earning a business license in Canada and operating as an official crypto service provider in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
