“Rebranding to YZi Labs is more than a name change—it reflects our ambition to explore new fields like AI and biotech while staying rooted in Web3,” said CZ.

Ella Zhang, a co-founder of Binance Labs, is returning to lead the newly branded initiative. During her earlier tenure, she supported over 40 startups, including Polygon MATIC $0.4420 and Injective INJ $21.13 , through its incubation programs. Zhang stated:

I’m excited to rejoin YZi Labs at this pivotal moment and reconnect with our founders and community. <...> Our mission remains unchanged: to empower visionary founders who are building for the long term with strong execution.

YZi Labs will relaunch its 12-week in-person residency program as part of the rebranding. This initiative aims to provide a collaborative environment for project founders to refine and develop their ideas in emerging industries like AI and biotechnology.
