TikTok's most-followed star will assist the crypto giant in debunking some of the myths regarding Web3 and the crypto ecosystem.
The world’s largest crypto exchange Binance has announced its partnership with one of the most famous TikTok stars Khaby Lame to grow the crypto-driven industry and Binance's ecosystem.
According to the official announcement released on June 30th, the collaboration between the two will see Lame becoming Binance’s global brand ambassador in order to boost Web3 adoption.

Khaby Lame, a Senegalese social media personality mostly known for his short videos where he mocks and makes fun of people showing various life hacks, is the most followed Tiktoker who has over 140 million followers on TikTok. On top of that, he also has around 78 million followers on Instagram.
James Rothwell, Binance Global VP of Marketing, noted that due to Khaby’s status as one of the most influential and funniest people across numerous social media platforms, Binance will be able to offer relatability as the use of Web3 constantly grows.
The VP added that Lame will assist the exchange in fighting misperceptions and revealing the true colors of the myths still surrounding Web3 and the crypto ecosystem.
The report also read that the TikTok star will also be able to form even closer relationships with his fans by building exclusive non-fungible token (NFT) collections together with the crypto exchange.
More notably, Lame also commented on the team-up and mentioned that Web3 and NFTs were always something that the renowned Tiktoker wanted to delve into. He believes that he’ll be able to meet the expectations of the partnership - explaining something as complex as crypto in simpler and more engaging terms, as he mostly uses such principles in all of his videos. He added:
“I consider my followers as my family, and I am always looking for new challenges and interesting content to share with them.”
It seems as though Binance is nowhere near a standstill when it comes to forming alliances with famous superstars. For instance, earlier this week, the exchange kicked off a multi-year partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo to fire up a series of non-fungible token (NFT) collections. CR7’s fans will reportedly have the opportunity to join the football star’s Web3 community later this year.
Earlier in May, Binance also signed a deal with the Alpine Formula 1 team to distribute collectibles and NFT airdrops.
