Firedancer, built using C and C++ programming languages, is designed to enhance Solana's network performance by efficiently processing transactions and constructing blocks.
The bounty program was announced on July 3 by Cantelope Peel, an engineer at Jump Crypto involved in the development of Firedancer v.0.1.
To participate in the bounty program, developers must complete Know Your Client (KYC) details during registration.
Immunefi has committed to responding to bugs found in Firedancer v0.1 within 24 hours on weekdays. After the program concludes, an event-specific leaderboard and bug reports from the event will be published.
This new initiative allows developers to contribute to Solana's ecosystem while earning substantial rewards.
In other news, the VanEck investment management firm has recently filed for the first Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF) with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
