HashKey Group, a digital asset firm from Hong Kong, has rolled out a wealth management business line dubbed HashKey Wealth.
According to the press release shared on April 14th, the new management service is designed for professional and institutional investors.

HashKey Group claims that the launch of the new service comes amid "significant demand from investors to access virtual assets."
In the announcement, the company noted that the new service aims to "offer a one-stop virtual asset management solution," covering areas like secondary market trading, fund investment, and compliant liquidity products.
Deng Chao, CEO of the group's venture capital branch, HashKey Capital, emphasized that the new service allows the company to deliver solutions that capitalize on the "growing opportunities of virtual assets."
We are excited to upgrade our OTC trading business and launch HashKey Wealth. <...> Our aim is to provide deep and reliable liquidity to the market and offer easy-to-use, secure, and professional solutions for qualified investors to capture the growing opportunities of virtual assets.
Addressing "recent challenges in the crypto market" that have underscored "the need for deep and reliable liquidity," HashKey plans to expand its over-the-counter (OTC) trading service. This expansion will involve increasing the number of tokens in its spot market and providing round-the-clock liquidity coverage.
It can be assumed that HashKey Wealth is a result of a "Type 9 asset management license," which the company received from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on September 13th, 2022.
It is worth noting that in January, HashKey Capital secured $500 million in funding for its FinTech Investment Fund III. The fund is dedicated to funding financial tools, infrastructure, and applications, which can boost the mass adoption of blockchain technology and crypto.
With HashKey Group's launch of a wealth management platform for professional and institutional investors, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand for virtual assets.
