Using a personal example, Thiel shared his advice:
My recommendation, to my kids, for example, is they put just a little bit away every month in Bitcoin and forget about it.
He explained that this method works well over time. He said, "Over two, three, four years, it grows, and that’s what people do”. Thiel noted that Bitcoin’s value has typically increased by 29% to 50% in most years.
He also highlighted several factors that could boost Bitcoin’s price by 2025, including more large companies adopting Bitcoin through spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and the possibility of the United States holding Bitcoin reserves.
Thiel’s comments came after Michael Saylor, the CEO of MicroStrategy, conducted a poll on X. Out of 65,164 respondents, 77.7% said they plan to increase their Bitcoin investments in 2025.
