What is a Crypto Wallet? (Explained With Animation)
Ulbricht’s release came after President Trump fulfilled a campaign promise made to libertarians and crypto advocates. On his second day in office, Trump issued a pardon, calling Ulbricht’s original sentence “ridiculous”.
The decision was announced on Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, where he expressed satisfaction with granting an unconditional pardon.
At the same time, speculation has surfaced about the status of Bitcoin
He stated in a post on X, "I found ~430 BTC across dozens of wallets associated with Ross Ulbricht that were not confiscated by the USGovt and have been untouched for 13+ years".
However, Grogan questioned whether Ulbricht still had the keys needed to access them. He suggested that any potential activity involving the wallets could soon clarify the situation.
Meanwhile, a documentary about Ulbricht, directed by Blake J. Harris and Jonah Tulis, is set to be released in 2025. What can people expect to see in it? Read the full story.
