On November 27th, BitDegree launched the Web3 Exam and Web3 Missions - an ambitious take on modern Web3 and crypto education. Among the goals of this launch is to provide learners with fundamental knowledge of the space, and educate them on how to navigate it successfully.
It’s no secret that Web3 tends to get a bad rap in mainstream news. On top of the innate complexity of the space, there’s an apparent barrier to entry for the masses.

While this barrier is essentially made up of fundamental knowledge of popular Web3 concepts, the aforementioned complexity, combined with a perceived lack of organized learning materials, makes it unbreachable to many potential enthusiasts.
In order to be able to navigate the Web3 space comfortably, people must develop at least a general understanding of how things work, what you should do, and what you should avoid.
Danielius Stasiulis, one of the co-founders of BitDegree, elaborated on the matter:
When facing a new concept, people try to educate themselves about it, and then make the decision, if they’re comfortable with it or not. In this way, Web3 really isn’t different from Web2. What is different is how those people learn. And we believe the Web3 Exam and Missions to be the perfect gateway into learning Web3.
With the Web3 Exam and Missions, BitDegree aims to provide learners with a tool to develop the fundamental skills of navigating Web3, while also transforming the learning process into a fun experience that’s approachable to both industry newcomers and veterans.
The Exam is a gamified experience that involves various interactive tasks, a $500,000-worth prize pool, as well as free NFT Certificates of Completion.
There will be two Lucky Draw events – the initial one in January 2024, and the bonus draw in February 2024. To have a shot at sharing prizes from the pool, students must complete the Exam (one or all three levels) by December 27th, 2023, for the initial draw or by February 2nd for the bonus draw.
