🪤 Copy, paste… and lose your crypto

Hackers are posting fake Microsoft Office add-ins on SourceForge that secretly install malware called ClipBanker.

Once it's on your device, it watches your clipboard and swaps any copied wallet addresses with the hacker’s - so your crypto transfer goes straight to them.

The malware can also steal device info, mine crypto, or even sell access to others.

🕵️ FBI catfishing as Elon Musk

The FBI arrested a dude who used Elon Musk’s name online to launder crypto for criminals.

But instead of shutting it all down, agents kept the scheme running for almost a year to bait more bad guys.

The undercover op helped block over $1.4M in illegal transactions from hackers and drug dealers.

🤖 Meta and China: secret collab?

A former Meta executive says the company secretly worked with Chinese officials for years - including on AI tech that may now be used by the Chinese military.

She claims Meta started meeting with Chinese leaders back in 2015, offered tools to manage content, and even discussed sharing user data.

She tried to publish a book with all the tea, but Meta shut it down before release - so now she’s spilling everything to US lawmakers.

🔐 Could blockchain save elections?

Lawmakers in New York are thinking about using blockchain to make elections safer.

A new bill says the Board of Elections should collaborate with tech nerds and security experts to see if it's worth using.
