Green is the ultimate feel-good color - forests, the sweet green traffic light, St. Paddy's Day... and above all, the greens in your portfolio rn. Am I right, or am I right? 😎
The Fear & Greed Index is at 75, which means investors remain greedy. And it's not hard to see why: Bitcoin poked its head above $100K a couple uh times over the past day and is still dancing around that level.
Basically, the market's still vibey after yesterday's inflation report.
Bitcoin maxi Mark Cullen thinks that if BTC manages to push past $103K, it'll create a "HH" (Higher High), which, translated to normal-people English, means the price would reach a peak that's higher than its previous one.
However, if the market decides to dip, he sees $80K as the target.
Speaking of potential future prices, HashKey Group posted a market survey that says BTC could go beyond $300K by 2025. Why?
Clearer crypto regulations;
Broader institutional adoption;
Faster tech breakthroughs.
+ They also think Ethereum could hit $8K this year.
Oh, and more about coins other than BTC: XRP broke past $3 for the first time since 2018. That's a 35% increase in the past week - the biggest jump among the top 10 cryptos.
Even Google Trends data shows searches for XRP outpaced BTC searches recently, and increased searches might be an indicator of retail interest.
For now, it's safe to say the grass is greener on this side. But don't forget to keep watering those greens - there's still plenty of room for them to grow 🌱

🦅 US updates
AAAA, ohmygosh, Jesus Christ, Marie, and Joseph, there's so much stuff going on in the US that we don't even have the time to think of a clever introduction.
We're getting straight into it.
1/ Oklahoma gets it
Oklahoma joins the growing list of states that are starting to connect the dots.
Rep. Cody Maynard introduced the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act, which would allow Oklahoma's state savings accounts and pension funds to invest in crypto.
FOMO is real, and it is among us.
2/ Bitfinex update
The US government might return 94K BTC seized from the 2016 Bitfinex hack - nearly 80% of the total 120K BTC stolen.
According to a new court document, returning the rest is gonna be messy. That's 'cause the perpetrators - Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather "Razzlekhan" Morgan - had already managed to launder it.
So, a complicated legal process will need to take place to confirm which coins really came from the hack and are "clean" enough to return.
Side note: Ilya's now serving 5 years in prison, and Razzlekhan got 18 months.
Side side note: before heading to prison, Razzlekhan released a rap song called Razzlekhan vs The United States. Not to be offensive, but hundreds of years ago, they had torture devices like the breaking wheel - today, we have music like this.
Ok, back to main note: returning the BTC could actually be bullish because it eases fears of a government dump.
Also, it's simply the right thing to do.
3/ Some more legal stuff
HDR Global Trading Limited, the parent company of BitMEX, got hit with two years of unsupervised probation + $100M fine. Why? BitMEX apparently ran without a proper anti-money laundering (AML) program.
Meanwhile, Burwick Law is planning a class-action lawsuit against Pump(.)fun, saying that the platform profited millions in fees while users lost money to rugs and "unfulfilled promises."
4/ Trump pump?
Donald Trump's gonna be back in office next week, and the headlines definitely have us daydreaming about upgrading from pre-rich to rich:
Reuters says that the SEC might drop some crypto enforcement cases with the new leadership in charge;
The NY Post reported that Trump is into the idea of creating a strategic reserve for cryptos like USD Coin, Solana, and XRP;
Senator Tim Scott, who'll lead the Senate Banking Committee, wants crypto regulations to be one of the main priorities for the new Congress.
5/ The ETF front
VanEck filed for the "Onchain Economy" ETF, which would invest in crypto companies;
Canary Capital filed an amended S-1 form for their Litecoin ETF, which might mean that it's gonna be the next one to get approved 👀
Phew, okay, this was a rush 😮💨 All of that in just one day. Crypto is a special industry, innit?
🍋 News drops
📝 A survey from CryptoQuant shows that over 60% of crypto investors are between 25 and 44. Oh, and they're smart, too - almost half have a bachelor's, and 28% went for extra credit with advanced degrees.
⚠️ Phishing? So last season. Telegram malware scams are apparently the trend now - they're up 2,000% since November.
🏙 Dubai is planning to build a 17-story building called the Crypto Tower. Nine floors are for crypto offices, three for blockchain incubators, and one for AI innovation. Now, the real question - if they can put Rihanna on the Burj Khalifa, can we see Michael Saylor on this one?!
🚀 Malaysia might've caught the crypto virus. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had a chat with Abu Dhabi officials and Binance's CZ about creating policies on digital finance.
