The Fear & Greed Index is still hugging Greed at 75, while Bitcoin's gliding between $101K and $107K with barely any big movement.
BTC seemed unbothered by the Bank of Japan's decision to set borrowing rates at a 17-year high. Weird, cuz typically, when a central bank raises rates, crypto dips.
This time, tho', people seem more interested in what Trump's gonna do next than the interest rate hike.
Deutsche Bank analysts are still bullish for this year, as they expect crypto-friendly regulations, increasing institutional adoption, and monetary policy that isn't as tight.
However, analyst James Check says the $120K - $150K range is gonna be the "topping cloud" for BTC, and it's gonna struggle to keep any level above that.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETFs are on an inflow streak - $188.7M jumped in just yesterday.
Plus, Blockstream launched two new institutional funds that give direct exposure to its Bitcoin ecosystem, including yield opportunities from Bitcoin-backed loans.
So yeah, the big dawgs clearly can't get enough.

🦅 CRYPTO MENTIONED
It all started with a mid first day - Trump hyped himself up as the crypto president, but didn't even mention crypto once. Rude (but makes sense, tbh).
Then came the Ross Ulbricht pardon (you know, the Silk Road guy we spilled tea on a couple days ago).
And now? NGL, Donny T. kinda popped off with an executive order. Let's break it down:
1/ No CBDCs
Central Bank Digital Currencies? Not on Trump's watch!!! 😡
And the crypto crowd goes wild - cuz CBDCs would pretty much allow the government to spy on our transactions, which goes against the whole point of crypto.
W for decentralization!
2/ The President's Working Group on Digital Asset Markets
Trump wants to assemble the Power Rangers for crypto regulation, led by AI & Crypto Czar David O. Sacks.
Their goal? Cook up a federal rulebook for digital assets and...
3/ A national digital asset stockpile
(This one's juicy, so it deserves its own number on the list.)
The group will evaluate creating a national stockpile of digital assets.
Important keyword: evaluate. Nothing's guaranteed, and chill out - it won't happen tomorrow. But it's a definitely step forward.
But the keyword that Bitcoiners noticed is digital assets. So... Bitcoin's not special? 😔 It's not a strategic Bitcoin reserve? 😔
And people started pointing fingers - mainly at Ripple.
Crypto researcher Pierre Rochard claimed the company's been throwing millions at politicians to block the idea of an SBR.
To which Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse responded:
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!.. uhh... ahem... Who said that? 👀
4/ Bonus: SAB 121
This wasn't part of the executive order, but still worth celebrating.
The SEC canceled the SAB 121, aka the rule that forced financial firms holding crypto to treat it like a liability. Meaning: it made offering crypto services way too expensive and risky for businesses.
And, btw, we can see the impact already - Morgan Stanley, one of the world's biggest banks, is now apparently talking with regulators about getting deeper into crypto.
It's kinda wild seeing the US crypto regulatory environment do a 180 like that... and it's just the beginning. Next stop: the moon?! 🚀🤞

🍋 News drops
📫 US Senator Elizabeth Warren slid into Elon Musk's inbox with suggestions on how DOGE could save money. The plan? Trim Defense spending, fix fraud in health care, and - wait for it - cut tax loopholes for the rich. Sounds funny knowing that Elon Musk is the rich.
🤗 Ross Ulbricht, the creator of the Silk Road marketplace, thanked Donald Trump for granting him a full pardon. "I am so, so grateful to have my life back, to have my future back, to have this second chance. This is such an important moment for me and for my whole family," he said.
👀 John McAfee's widow, Janice, launched a memecoin in his honor, announcing it on his old X account with, "You didn't think I'd miss this cycle, did you?" The crypto community cheered - until they noticed 90% of the 100M supply was held by insiders.
💭 Vitalik Buterin called the current crypto regulations a "new order," where the world's most powerful people are hyped about tokens for literally anything. But he warned they're not just a fun experiment - they’re a recipe for unlimited political bribery.
😬 Crypto donations to extremist groups are dropping worldwide - but in Europe, the numbers are climbing.
