Ivanka Trump has publicly criticized a meme coin project using her name, calling it "deceptive, exploitative, and unacceptable".
The businesswoman clarified on X that she has no connection to the token, which launched earlier this week. She also mentioned that her legal team is taking action against its creators.
Ivanka wrote in a January 23 post on X, "It has come to my attention that a fake crypto coin called “Ivanka Trump” or “$IVANKA” is being promoted without my consent or approval".

She also noted, "This fake coin risks deceiving consumers and defrauding them of their hard-earned money, and the unauthorized use of my name and likeness is a violation of my rights".
