What is Aurory?
Aurory is a free-to-play battler game based on the Solana blockchain. It runs based on the principle of DAO, which enables the gaming ecosystem to be a community and user-driven platform. Being a Japanese Role Playing Game (JRPG), Aurory features various characters, creatures, and assets designed in anime style with rich lore that add nuance to the game.
Players are able to explore different landscapes and worlds within this universe. They can participate in quests, collect relics, buy assets, battle with enemies, and participate in tournaments. The game plays out as seasons, at the end of which world championships take place. These championships require a pass which can be acquired in several ways, including winning monthly tournaments or simply buying it.
The game features Nefties, which are NFT-based creatures used for battling with other players. Besides that, the Aurory crypto project has launched its own NFT collection called Aurorians. It features 3D NFT characters that are also used in the game.
There are two game modes in Aurory – single-player Adventure Mode (PvE) and multiplayer Battle Mode (PvP). Adventure Mode immerses players in an engaging storyline and crypto-based educational material. The characters used in this game mode are Aurorians. Battle Mode, as the name suggests, is where players use Nefties to battle with other players.
Overall, Aurory is much like other similar P2E NFT-based gaming projects, such as Axie Infinity (AXS). However, it mainly stands out from these projects due to the fact that it's free-to-play.
Use Cases of AURY Tokens
The AURY crypto asset is the native token of the gaming metaverse. While it is used for purchasing in-game assets on the marketplace, it is also used as a governance token that empowers the holders to make decisions on the platform’s various aspects. However, the governance part was enforced only once the tokens were widely distributed and the game was fully operational.
Talking about purchasing in-game assets, AURY tokens are used to purchase Nefties, Eggs, Power Stones, Battle Items, Lands, Cosmetics, and so much more. In addition to that, they are used as a fee for hatching the eggs that contain Nefties.
Moreover, AURY can also be used for staking and earning rewards, upgrading assets, and entering PvP competitions. If you're planning to purchase AURY tokens, check out the Aurory price chart above. It features the current (and the previous) AURY price.
Besides, apart from AURY tokens, the Aurory crypto project also features OKA and TOKE assets. These in-game-only assets function as an accounting mechanism that permits the distribution of player revenues. OKA is rewarded to players of PvE and PvP modes, while TOKE is only used to reward PvE players. Both are traded for an equivalent amount of AURY each week through a reward pool.
Tokenomics of AURY
The max supply of Aurory tokens is 100 million. Initially, only 9,5% were released into circulation. 7% were sold during the initial dex offering (IDO) while 2,5% was supplied as liquidity to various exchanges. You can see the current circulating supply above.

Founders of Aurory
The founders of Aurory are Yann Penno and Sym (Paul).
Yann Penno is the game’s Creative Art Director who previously worked as a 2D and 3D animator for 14 years. He has widespread experience working with indie games. Aurory’s visual style created by Penno resembles the visual style of Dragonball Z.
Sym, on the other hand, is a cryptocurrency enthusiast and investor since 2019. He handles marketing and operations for the game.
