What is Blur (BLUR)?
BLUR is the native token of an NFT marketplace and an aggregator that goes by the same name. The NFT marketplace is focused on professional NFT traders who trade in high volumes. It seeks to provide users with faster trades than other NFT marketplaces do and, thus, become the fastest NFT marketplace. In fact, Blur claims to offer 10x faster sweeping. It's also worth noting that it has no fees. Besides, as Blur is also an NFT marketplace aggregator, it allows traders to trade across multiple marketplaces.

Who Founded Blur?
The Blur crypto project was launched on October 19, 2022. The project was founded by a person who goes by the pseudonym Pacman. He has a background in engineering and a degree in math and computer science from MIT. While he studied at MIT, he met the co-founder of Blur who goes by the pseudonym Galaga. They first founded another business together in 2018 but then sold it in 2021, which also marks the date when they started working on Blur.
Blur managed to raise $11 million from a seed round held by Paradigm.

Tokenomics of BLUR
The initial supply of Blur tokens was set at 3 billion. The first batch of 360 million BLUR tokens was released on February 14, 2023, by airdropping them into "care packages." These care packages were given to collectors who traded Ethereum-based NFTs in the past six months since the token release.
This airdrop marked the end of the Season 1 reward round and started the Season 2 round. In order to qualify for the following airdrops, traders have to list and bid on Blur.
