What is ChainGuardians (CGG)?
CGG is the native token of ChainGuardians, which is an NFT-based RPG game. The game is free-to-play and it features a galaxy of planets that are under attack by Tifans and Gatekeepers. Players have to become Guardians and free the planets by defeating Gatekeepers.

Each in-game asset is based on the ERC-721 standard on the Ethereum blockchain. Thus, each in-game asset is an NFT.
The game features two play modes: mining and fighting. The latter was just explained above. The former mode, on the other hand, allows users to participate in the mining of NFTs. Players can either mine individually or in teams. Besides, they are rewarded for mining, as well as fighting.
Use Cases of CGG Tokens
The ChainGuardians Token, known as CGG, is an ERC-20 token that serves as the ecosystem's native currency. There are three key use cases for the CGG token:
- Staking. By staking CGG tokens, users can earn new NFTs, partner tokens, earn APY, and POWER LPT.
- Governance. Holders of the ChainGuardians coin have the ability to vote on proposals to modify the architecture of the ChainGuardians ecosystem and other protocol settings.
- Payments. Within the ChainGuardians ecosystem, the CGG token is used as the main means of payment. This includes buying NFTs or making any other in-game purchases.
