What is Metadium (META)?
Metadium is a blockchain-based identity protocol that enables users to have control over their own digital identity. The Meta ID allows for self-sovereign identification, which is secure and reliable, forming the foundation of the Metadium ecosystem.
Overall, Metadium is built on the concept of self-sovereign identity. This type of decentralized identity puts the people in control and allows them to manage their own personal information without relying on third parties or central authority. Examples of this information can include music taste, favorite colors, and more. As such, it provides users with borderless autonomy over their identities while also allowing for easy verification processes.

META Use Cases
META token can be described as the fuel of the protocol to power the identity infrastructure. Users of the ecosystem access the network using META tokens and can use identity-related features and services utilizing Meta ID.
META coin serves as a means of payment for identity verification and sharing on decentralized identity infrastructure. When the validated data is utilized, attestation agencies get compensated. Additionally, service providers pay META tokens to users and attestation agencies in exchange for access to their identity information.
Also, users who provide their identity details are rewarded with META, which they can then use to purchase services from Metadium or other service providers related to identities.
To increase the utility and the META price, more use cases are planned for the future. This includes charging transaction fees to prevent potential DDoS attacks, as well as rewarding block-producing nodes that secure the Metadium blockchain.
