What is Muse (MUSE)?
The MUSE token is used as the governing asset of nft20.io. This open-source protocol facilitates peer-to-peer trading of nonfungible tokens (NFTs) across decentralized exchanges such as UniSwap and Sushiswap.
With design assistance from Carlos Veloso, Jules and Adam created nft20.io without outside funding or presale. The project was initiated under the VeryNifty NFT store.
The MUSE crypto is used primarily as the governance token for Muse Labs. It also allows stakers to get an equal share of all fees collected by the DEX. When an NFT-to-NFT swap occurs on NFT20, those fees will be exchanged for ETH and used to purchase MUSE coins that are then sent to stakeholders. The pool from which these fees are sold varies depending on liquidity and how much money is held in each collection. Only 10% of protocol-owned costs can be sold off at once to stop excessive selling before the market adjusts prices accordingly.
