What is MUX Protocol (MCB)?
MCB is the native token of the MUX Protocol (previously MCDEX), which is a decentralized self-custodial leveraged trading platform. It allows trading crypto with up to x100 leverage and aggregated liquidity. Besides, it has zero price impact.

MUX Protocol offers various useful features. For instance, by choosing the best liquidity route and lowering the composite cost for traders while still achieving opening position requirements, it minimizes trading costs.
Moreover, according to market conditions, position size, and user preferences, MUX dynamically routes positions to appropriate underlying trading protocols. This feature is called smart position routing.
Furthermore, although MUX's native pool permits up to 100x leverage, it may also provide additional margin to traders. This allows them to increase the leverage up to 100x on combined underlying protocols.
Also, one of the key features of MCB is liquidity multiplexing. It enables MUX to dynamically share liquidity across several utilization routes, including on-platform margin trading and third-party decentralized exchange mining. This, in turn, dramatically raises the utilization rate of MUX. Besides, it's important to note that, by utilizing the broker modules, MUX unifies liquidity across different networks.
Before being rebranded in 2022, MUX Protocol was known as MCDEX. The rebrand followed the V4 launch of the platform.
What is MCB Token?
Overall, the MUX Protocol crypto project has four tokens: MCB, veMUX, MUX, and MUXLP. MCB is the main token of the project. The one thing users can do with MCB tokens is lock them in order to receive veMUX tokens, which are governance tokens of the project.
veMUX grants holders governance rights and the ability to earn MUX tokens, which are the protocol's reward tokens. MUX can be either staked to receive more veMUX tokens or vested into MCB coins.
However, MUX tokens can also be earned by staking MUXLP tokens. These are liquidity provider tokens of the MUX Protocol.

Who Founded MUX Protocol?
MUX Protocol crypto project, at the time known as MCDEX, was launched in 2019 by Jie Liu. Prior to founding MCDEX, he was a senior software engineer at Baidu. Besides, he developed such technologies as Doris (a distributed database), Minerbabe (a mining software), and a GPU mining management tool.
