The Tether EURt token is a stablecoin pegged to the Euro at a 1:1 ratio and backed by the Tether’s reserves. This means that the Tether EURt price stays stable since it goes alongside the price of the Euro. In fact, EURT is the first stablecoin that is pegged to the Euro. Usually, stablecoins are pegged to the US Dollar, as is the case with the main stablecoin of Tether – USDT.
Besides, note that EURT is based on an ERC-20 token standard and stored on the Ethereum network.
