What is Vesper (VSP)?
VSP is the native token of Vesper, which is a DeFi platform. It allows users to increase their crypto holdings through easy-to-use DeFi products passively. Users' deposits are invested to earn high yields in the market with an interface that contains sound engineering. You can find the current VSP price on the live Vesper price chart above.
As the first product on the Vesper platform, the Grow Pool makes available a variety of interest-earning pools. A Grow Pool combines different deposits into one strategy, which generates more than one cryptocurrency. Furthermore, Vesper offers other passive income-generating products such as Vesper Earn, Stable, Lend, and Orbit.
Use Cases of VSP Tokens
Primarily, the VSP token is the Vesper ecosystem's governance token. Thus, it allows token holders to vote on various decisions concerning the further development of the project.
Besides that, VSP tokens can be deposited into the vVSP treasury pool for staking. By staking in this pool, users are able to generate rewards in Vesper tokens. Though they can also stake VSP in Vesper's liquidity pool. Liquidity providers are also rewarded in VSP tokens.
Lastly, every Grow Pool is assigned a certain amount of VSP tokens. A proportional amount of VSP tokens is distributed to participants based on their stakes. In this case, VSP becomes an extra reward in addition to the passive income generated by the pool.
