What is WINkLink?
The WINkLink token or WIN is the native token powering WINkLink - the first oracle network running on the TRON blockchain.
WIN is based on the TRC-20 token standard. WIN has several use cases. Firstly, it serves as a crypto reward paid out to node operators.
Secondly, the holders of the WINkLink token receive governance rights.
Last but not least, the WIN token grants staking bonuses as the rewards are directly proportional to the WIN token number. To put it simply, this means that WIN token holders will earn more than users without any WIN tokens.
There is a total supply of 999,000,000,000 WIN tokens. They have been allocated as follows:
- 27% - Ecosystem;
- 15% - Seed Sale;
- 12% - Initial Community;
- 10% - Core Team;
- 9% - Gaming Partnership;
- 7% - Development;
- 6.25% - Strategic Partnership;
- 3.75% - Reserve.

What are the Main Features of WINkLink?
As discussed in the What is WINkLink section, WINkLink provides an oracle network. Oracle is a type of system that connects on-chain systems like blockchain and its smart contracts to external systems which provide off-chain data.
The main selling point of WINkLink is the fact that it’s a completely decentralized platform. This means that its oracle solution is also decentralized unlike many other oracles out on the market.
The decentralization aspect increases the security of the oracle network and its provided solutions
The WINkLink crypto project enables smart contracts that are based on the TRON blockchain to receive off-chain data necessary for its operations. In the future, WINkLink aims to support other blockchain networks.
WINkLink provides 2 core solutions:
- Price Service provides real-time information on cryptocurrency pair prices;
- VRF or Verifiable Random Function - a provably-fair cryptographic random number generator for decentralized applications. It provides a keyed cryptographic hash in the form of a public key.
One of the main goals of the project is to bridge the gap between on-chain and off-chain systems.
Who Developed WINkLink?
The WINkLink crypto project was launched in 2021. Its first whitepaper version was published in October of 2020.
No information on the founders and core team members behind WINkLink is publicly available. They have chosen to remain anonymous.
WINkLink has partnered up with various companies including Poloniex, SunSwap, TronLink, TronGrid, SUN, BitTorrent, TrueUSD, uTorrent, DLive, Steem, and Steemit.
