What are Yield Guild Games?
The Yield Guild Games token or YGG is the token powering the Yield Guild Games platform. The latter is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for gaming NFTs. It provides a way for users to make a passive income by investing in gaming NFTs.
There is a total supply of 1,000,000,000 YGG tokens. This makes the supply deflationary, which, in turn, can increase the YGG price with time. They have been allocated as follows:
- 45% - Community;
- 24.9% - Investors;
- 15% - Founders;
- 13.3% - Treasury;
- 1.85% - Advisors.

What are the Main Features of Yield Guild Games?
As discussed in the What is Yield Guild Games section, YGG is an NFT-based DAO. It became increasingly popular during the global pandemic in 2020.
Yield Guild Games holds large amounts of gaming NFTs that can be used to generate yield. In other words, it serves as a source of passive income.
YGG enables users to invest in digital assets used in Play-2-Earn (P2E) games and virtual worlds. These users can choose a SubDAO based on their preference such as the game they’re playing or location. Users can also create their own SubDAOs if there’s a community backing them.
One of the primary goals of this project is to create one of the largest virtual world economies that distribute profits among YGG token holders.
Yield Guild Games has received backing from Polygon, Delphi Digital, BlockTower Capital, Scalar Capital, Youbi Capital, Ascensive Assets, gumi Cryptos Capital, Animoca Brands, Sparq, Sfermion, and Flamingo, among many others.
