HTML aside: Main Tips

 • HTML
contains information which is not directly related to the main purpose or idea of a web page.
 •
in HTML can include author details, explanations of definitions, related information, ads, etc.
 • In HTML5,
is one of the new elements.

Using aside

HTML
separates information which is not directly related or vital to the main article or web page. It is possible to isolate such additional content in call-out boxes or sidebars.

Example

Lake

Oxford lake is a lake in the state.

The example above demonstrated the usage of
tag in HTML without any styling features. The following example shows how the content in
can be customized with CSS:

Example

Many movies and graphic novels have been based on this Greek hero.
