Katana cryptocurrency exchange is a decentralized exchange built on the RoninChain. It is based on an Automated Market Maker (AMM) that provides users with the ability to instantly buy or swap tokens.
To gain access to the platform, you must own a Ronin Wallet and connect it to the exchange. Being a decentralized platform, there are no KYC procedures to follow, and there are no countries where its services are either restricted or unavailable. However, it is good to check your country’s laws about cryptocurrency trading activities to be on the safe side.
Markets
There are only 4 Katana trading pairs available of writing this. Supported cryptocurrencies include SLP, AXS, WRON, USDC, and WETH. It is possible that as Katana trade volume increases in the future, more trading pairs and cryptocurrencies would be added to the platform. There is no Katana spot trading option available on the platform, and nor does it support margin, leverage, or futures trading. It only supports token swaps between the cryptocurrencies listed above.
There is a 0.3% Katana exchange fee charged on all swaps made on the platform. This is to cover the cost of the transactions made on the platform. 0.25% of the trading fees are given as rewards to liquidity providers on the platform while 0.05% is sent to the Ronin treasury.
Only crypto deposits and withdrawals are permitted on the platform. The Katana crypto price charged on each deposit and withdrawal is dependent on the cryptocurrency in question. Users have the ability to decide which crypto is cost-effective for them before depositing and withdrawing their cryptos from the Katana crypto exchange.
Other Services
Apart from swapping, users can stake and farm their crypto assets to earn passive rewards on the platform. This option is particularly useful for participants who do not wish to trade actively.
